Keith is a Senior Hydrogeologist/Senior Project Manager with Pinnacle’s Minneapolis office. He has over 36-years of environmental consulting experience working on complex contaminated sites, forensic geology, expert witness, and extensive in-depth practice with bioremediation and corrective action. Keith leads Pinnacle’s soil/groundwater investigation and remediation practice at hazardous waste (RCRA\CERCLA) facilities, and vapor intrusion and remediation projects, partnering with our environmental, land development and engineering staff. Keith is highly skilled in the development of complex investigative programs utilizing innovative High Resolution Site Characterization (HRSC) & Subsurface Imaging, including and varied exploratory and innovative drilling technologies and geophysical techniques, developing and incorporating strategic analytical sampling programs for hazardous waste sites, data interpretation, permitting, regulatory negotiations, and data management. Much of this work ends up necessitating expert testimony. Every site is unique, and Keith is part of Pinnacle’s knowledgeable and growing bioremediation practice, charged with understanding and tailoring the proper remedial solution for each site. He is continually expanding our talent pool with in-situ expertise and innovative corrective action opportunities to Pinnacle’s growing client base.
Keith has multi-year experience working on projects outside the US and North America, in the European Union, UK, Northern Europe, and South America. Keith has a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of MN, Duluth. Keith is a Registered Geologist in MO, a registered Professional Geologist in MN and NE, and a Certified Professional Geologist.
Keith serves as Vice Chair of the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID), having served as the Professional Geologist member for seven years. Recently, Keith was elected as Secretary for the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG®), the national organization representing Professional Geologists in the United States.
