Created by continuous growth within our Industrial and Transportation clients, Pinnacle has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. The position within the Environmental Services Group at Pinnacle’s Maple Grove Office will serve as Sr. Project Manager for our Industrial and Transportation practices. This is a new position within Pinnacle Engineering. Primary practice areas will be environmental site investigations, remediation projects, environmental permitting and regulatory interaction. We currently provide these services to a wide range of clients through a variety of product lines that include industrial services, site investigation and cleanup, engineering, and regulatory negotiation,. Our growth necessitates the creation of the management position that will coordinate these activities and provide central control over a wide variety of project tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively manage project staff and budgets and effectively communicate with clients. This project control must be blended with our service hallmark of advising clients on practical solutions to their environmental concerns. Day to day tasks will include a wide variety of services such as, work plan development, project scheduling, budget management, milestone tracking, direction of our staff resources, and client interaction within a strong team environment. You must have strong knowledge in the state and federal environmental regulations, experience with railroad clientel will be a definite plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in earth sciences or related field. Engineering degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience managing multiple phase environmental/engineering project including: environmental engineering, work plan preparation, site investigation sampling, task scheduling and management, site remediation, corrective action implementation resource management, and budget management/billing.
- Familiarity with VISION financial management software a plus.
