Geotechnical Project Manager

Summary of Requirements: the successful candidate will possess experience including project management, soils analysis, paving design, foundation design, slope stability analysis, tower footing design, engineering report preparation, construction testing and special inspections, and project budgeting.

Environmental Engineers & Scientists

Pinnacle has provided environmental engineering and consulting services to industrial and manufacturing clients for over 15 years. Job Summary:

Expansion of the Industrial Services division at Pinnacle has created a need for additional environmental compliance personnel. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the industry or in consulting. Experience with environmental compliance related projects and issues are a must. This staff position will provide support to Senior Engineering personnel on a wide and extremely diverse array of projects. Our clients cover a wide range of industries from metal and plastic manufacturing to synthetic organic chemical processing (i.e. ethanol production). Experience in the environmental compliance needs of the ethanol market would be highly desirable.

 

Summary of Duties (commensurate with experience):

Preparation of air and water permit applications

Preparation of compliance reporting documentation (i.e. Air Emissions Inventory, Toxic Release Inventory, etc.)

Preparation of compliance programs (i.e. SPCC, PSM, RMP, etc.)

On-site compliance inspections

Client and regulatory authority interaction

 

Summary of Requirements:

BS in Engineering or Environmental Science

2-5 years of experience

 

Desirable Qualities:

Detail orientated Good verbal and writing skills

Desire and willingness to learn new things

Air Dispersion Modeling experience

CAA and CWA compliance experience

Ethanol industry experience

 

Salary:  Commensurate with education and experience.

Entry Level Environmental Professional/Geologist

Pinnacle Engineering, Inc is a dynamic, multi-disciplined engineering firm with a steady record of growth in environmental, geotechnical, industrial and process engineering.  We are immediately seeking a full time, entry level position to support a variety of environmental projects at our Maple Grove headquarters. 

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a candidate with solid communication skills who wishes to develop and enhance their career within the environmental consulting industry.   The position will work on a variety of projects in the region including telecom, property transfer, transportation, wind energy, and biofuels.  Duties will include a mix of field and office duties such as field monitoring, sample collection, project research, data analysis, and report preparation.

   

This position is located in Maple Grove, MN.

 

Summary of Duties:

Perform field observation and evaluation

Perform soil and groundwater sampling

Provide data analysis and recommendations

Conduct Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments

Prepare text and figures for technical reports

Complete filings for local and national regulatory agencies

Prepare text and figures for technical reports

 

Summary of Qualifications:

B.S. in geology or other earth sciences with environmental emphasis

M.S. preferred

1- 3 years practical experience

Familiarity with ASTM Environmental Site Assessment standards

Familiarity with NEPA standards and reporting

Excellent writing skills
