ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

TITLE: Accounting Coordinator
LOCATION: Minneapolis, MN Office (Corporate)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pinnacle Engineering is seeking highly skilled, detail oriented Accounting Coordinator who excels at multitasking. Primary responsibilities include client billings, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. To succeed in this position you should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. You should be ethical, thorough and attentive with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Answer the main phone-line
  • Organize/order office and warehouse supplies
  • Assist project managers with projects as needed
  • Share responsibility in all accounts payable processes (new vendor set-up, invoice approval, invoice entry, vendor payments, etc.)
  • Responsible for all accounts receivable activities (apply client receipts, deposit checks, review accounts receivable, collections, etc.)
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Inbound/outbound mail sorting/coordination of delivery services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Coordination of employee time sheets
  • Other duties as needed


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The selected candidate will possess advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Deltek Ajera software is a plus but not required 
  • Must be flexible as some overtime may be required
